Help & FAQ

Straight answers about what the app can and cannot do. If your question is not here, the contact form goes directly to the team.

What can RecipeGrabber AI save a recipe from?

Four things: a recipe website link, recipe text you paste in, a photo or screenshot of a recipe, and a recipe you type in yourself. Those are the only import routes in the app.

Can it save a recipe from TikTok, Instagram or Facebook?

No. Those platforms block automated reading, so the app cannot pull a recipe from a TikTok, Instagram or Facebook link. If the recipe is written out somewhere, paste the text or take a screenshot and use the Text or Photo tab instead.

Can it import from YouTube or Pinterest?

We do not claim that. Video pages usually hold the method rather than written ingredients, so treat YouTube and Pinterest as unsupported unless the recipe also exists as text or an image you can paste or photograph.

A recipe website would not save. What now?

Some sites block automatic extraction. Copy the ingredients and directions, or screenshot them, and use the Text or Photo tab. You get the same clean recipe card; only the route differs.

What happens to a recipe photo I upload?

Photos you upload are stored privately, not on a public link. They are opened through a short-lived signed link when you view the recipe, and only your account can see them.

Are the nutrition values exact?

No. Nutrition is an AI estimate per serving, and estimated cost and times work the same way. Use them as a rough guide rather than a medical or dietary figure.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The app is built mobile first, and cooking mode is designed for a phone propped up in the kitchen, with large single steps and timers that keep running when the screen locks.

Is there a subscription?

No. Lifetime Access is $3.99 paid once, and the optional Pro Kitchen Pack is $1.99 paid once. Nothing renews.

How do I delete my account and my recipes?

Open Settings inside the app and use the delete account option. That removes your account; your recipes are tied to it.

Still stuck?
